What is a Social Action Canvas?

A Social Action Canvas is a tool used to help individuals and organizations define, map out and analyze a social action. It is a helpful way to gain insight into how to strategically and effectively execute a social action. The canvas consists of three main elements: the purpose, the process and the resources. Within each of these elements, there are a number of components that must be addressed in order to successfully execute a social action. The canvas can be used to both plan and document a social action.
