If we were to guess which of the 2016 presidential hopefuls performed in a Chippendale’s-meets-Village-People dance troupe as a teenage, we’d have to put our chips on Ted Cruz.
But we’d be wrong, because apparently the honor goes to Marco Rubio. That was our next guess.
The alleged dancing was reported by The Public Intelligence Blog, which, OK, looks like utter nonsense.
They support their claim with this irrefutable photographic evidence:
You see?! The proof is right there.

Though the photo is more than likely Rubio, other sources around the web attribute the performance to a cheeky high school competition. Sadly, the “high school gay dancer past” argument looks a little shaky — and that’s being extremely generous.

There’s no other explanation. This proves it.
By running the image through Google, we were able to track down this second photo, taken just before or after the last one:
Hilariously weak evidence aside, Rubio has talked about foam parties before in interviews.
Below, he tells Jimmy Fallon, “The truth is, when I was in college I bought some boots like that, and remember the old foam parties? Remember that? You don’t remember that…I bought some of those and when I left the foam party they were white. Because the foam washed the dye out of it.”
“You used to go to those dance parties?” Fallon asks.
“I went one time,” Rubio responds.
