Connie Hair proudly serves as the Louisiana State Director for the State Freedom Caucus Network. She has been working in politics and media across the fruited plain for her entire adult life. She has worked on campaigns for Governors, U.S. Senators and Congressmen and Presidents in capacities ranging from volunteer door knocker to campaign manager. Connie served in the United States Army Reserve in psychological warfare (PSYOP) for eight years, doing double duty while she worked at Paramount Pictures in network television at the Hollywood studios. Seeing first hand the destructive force the entertainment industry has become to America’s culture, she abruptly left Hollywood to become fully involved in what was a hobby at the time—politics—to see what could be done about ending socialist Marxism’s degrading influence on this nation’s ability to self-govern. In Connie’s time on Capitol Hill, she served as a member of the Capitol Hill Press Corps as the congressional correspondent for Human Events magazine, she worked for three Members of Congress and a United States Senator in her time as a speechwriter and a communications director. She has spent the past 12 years as House Freedom Caucus member Rep. Louie Gohmert’s chief of staff before his retirement in January, 2023, when she moved home to her native Louisiana to accept the challenge of standing up the Louisiana Freedom Caucus with members of the state legislature. Laissez les bons temps rouler!
